EAS undertake environmental assessments to inform, amongst other things, development design and provide our clients and regulators with the information required to make informed decisions. The role of the Environmental Consultant is to design and confirm an appropriate level of assessment, to undertake desktop studies and site assessments, and produce technical, scientific reports suitable for submission to our clients, their representatives and regulators (such as Local Councils and the Environment Agency).  

• Relevant Degree (Environmental Science, Biological Science, Chemistry, Engineering or similar discipline)
• Understanding of contamination risk factors / flooding and drainage / noise / air – as appropriate to your specialism
• Excellent report writing skills
• Proficient in the use of Word and Excel
• Knowledge of software such as GIS
• Experience producing technical, scientific reports
• Full and clean UK driving licence
• Good team player

• Undertake site walkover assessments and intrusive/monitoring investigations
• Interpret data and produce valid conclusions and remedial recommendations
